Notifications help you stay informed on the status of your home. You can receive notifications for events such as alarm, smoke or water leakage detected (if you have the alarm system or smoke/water leakage detectors installed).


How do I set notifications?

During the first installation, you are requested to activate notifications. If your device is not properly setup for notifications you will see a blue card on the home tab. If you do not see a blue card, then notifications are set for your device. You can enable notifications as follows:


  1. Open the  'HomeWizard link' app.
  2. Go to the 'Users tab' tab at the bottom right of the screen.
  3. Select 'Notification'
    • Select the "Set notifications" button.
      • Allow notifications in the settings screen


If you have notifications set up, you will automatically receive notifications for a smoke or water notification. You can set the preventive lighting notification as follows:

  1. Open the HomeWizard link app.
  2. Go to the 'Users tab' tab at the bottom right of the screen.
  3. Select 'Notification'
    • Select 'Enable prevention lighting' on or off as desired.
