The Philips Hue bridge with the linked lamps can be integrated in the HomeWizard Link app. After you have connected the Philips Hue bridge, all lights will appear as a tile in the control tab. You can turn them on or off, set timers, assign them to scenes or use them for your security system.


Add Philips Hue to Link

Before adding  Philips Hue to the Link, you must consider the following:

  • Philips Hue app

Make sure you have installed the Philips hue with the Philips hue app before you proceed.

        

The following steps explain how you can add the Philips Hue as an integration into the HomeWizard Link app:


  • Open the  'HomeWizard link app'
  • Your enter  My Home’ screen
  • In the app, go to the  'Home Settings' by clicking the gear icon in the upper right corner.
  • Select  ’Integration'
  • You are in the 'Integration' screen
    • Selecteer  'Philips Hue’ to start the integration.
    • Press 'Connect Philips Hue bridge
      • When used with multiple Philips Hue bridges, select the desired bridge that you want to integrate.
    • Press the 'Philips Hue Logo' on the bridge to put it in pairing mode. 
      • If the bridge is not connected within 30 seconds, press the button again.
    • A screen will show that the Philips Hue bridge has been successfully connected. Press 'finish' to continue.
    • Select the desired lamps that you want to add to the HomeWizard Link.
  • Congratulations, you have successfully set the Philips Hue lamps on the HomeWizard Link. All lamps appear as a tile in the control tab. You can turn them on or off, set timers, assign them to scenes or use them for your security system.



Controlling the Philips in the Homewizard link app

Once added, it is possible to operate the Philips hue bulb.

  1. Open the  'HomeWizard app'  
  2. At the bottom of the screen, click on the Control’.
  3. You are now in the 'control' screen. Find the Philips Hue lamp in the added room.
    • Tap once on the 'tile’ of the colour bulb to turn the light ‘ON’ or ‘OFF
    • Hold down the tile’’ of the colour bulb for a long time to ‘EDIT’.
      • Once in the ‘Device settings’ of the Philips Hue lamp you can now edit depending on the Philips Hue lamp options:
        • Press “White” This changes the shades of white light:
          • Use the field to choose the desired white shades.
          • Press the ‘slider’ to dim the light. Depending on the Philips Hue lamp options.
        • Press “Colour” to change the colours of the light. Depending on the Philips Hue lamp options:
          • Use the field to choose the desired colour.
          • Press the ‘slider’ to dim the light.
        • Press  'History' to view the history of the colour bulb.
        • Press  Device setting’ to change the name, toggle between your favourite positions or manage automation. 


Automation

The Philips Hue lamps can be part of 'Status automation' and 'Automation tasks'.
